What is travel- inspired tea?
Beginning with a destination or memory, travel- inspired tea is created based upon the sights, smells, tastes and mood of a destination, captured and translated into a tea blend.
The Tea Nomad is about indulging a love for travel, and our blends are truly a labour of love. Instead of focusing on a flavour profile, ingredient or tea variety, our tea blends are created to engage your senses, and evoke a strong sense of wanderlust.

How do you choose your destination or travel memory for creating a blend?
We are fortunate to have been able to live a travellers life and we have a treasure chest full of travel memories and dreams which we cannot wait to share with you. Certain destinations will always ignite our creative juices, linger that much more or engage our senses that little bit stronger and that is where we have begun...but it's only the beginning!
Can you create a blend for my travel inspiration of my travel memories?
Currently, customised tea blends are not a part of our regular services. However, if you would like to discuss creating a tea experience for your travel memories or a place that has captured your wanderlust, do get in touch and let's see how we may be able to help.
Why do the number of cups of tea vary between blends?
We believe strongly in the quality of all our natural ingredients. Due to the size of some of our ingredients; from herbs to fruits, whole loose leaf teas to flowers, some of our blends are simply bulkier or take up more space, than others. As such, the amount of tea in a test tube or pouch may vary.
How should I store my tea, and how long can I keep it?
Tea should always be stored in airtight containers in a cool, dry and dark place. Given the natural ingredients in our teas, we recommend that they are enjoyed within a year of purchase, however they should be fine for 2 years. Teas in our glass test tubes are designed as samples, to be enjoyed as soon as possible, ideally within three months of purchase.
How should I wash my tea infuser?
We recommend handwashing your tea infuser with cool to warm water. Do not put the infuser in the dishwasher.
How do I redeem gift certificates?
Gift certificates are redeemed by entering the unique voucher code in the 'discount' section of your shopping cart and must be redeemed in full in one transaction. They are valid for 6 months from date of purchase.
Can I apply discount codes on my gift certificate?
Unfortunately not at this stage. Only one discount code can be applied per order, and gift certificates are redeemed with an unique code.
What is your privacy policy?
The Tea Nomad will not share any personal details, and will never sell or supply your information to third-parties. We will only contact you regarding your order, or should you join our mailing list, to share exclusive blends and deals with you.
