So. Here we are. Twelve months, and six blends later.
What was floated as an idea within a nomadic life, has become a reality. Every day, we share our our love for travel, for wanderlust, for indulging in memories of travels past and dreams of travels to come. And of course, our love for tea. We couldn't be more proud, and thankful to you, fellow wanderlusters and tea lovers, for coming along for the ride.
Starting with our signature range, test tubes of our Sydney, Provence and Shanghai blends were quickly loved as “bitesized” luxuries for enjoying a moment of travel dreaming. Kyoto and Sahara soon complemented the range, and with our latest launch, Maldives, just in time for Summer 2017- we now have a well rounded range of black, red, white and green teas, cold and hot brews, and covering travel dreams the world over. But it has been our gift sets, a trio of destinations to be shared and enjoyed, which have proven particularly popular. Among travel lovers and gift givers- those who have a travel loving friend, family, colleague or secret santa!
'We dipped our toes into market life. After debuting at the iconic Bondi Markets, we ventured into our first incredible Sydney Tea Festival where we were overwhelmed by your support and sold out of our beloved canisters, which were launched at the Festival. These copper creations were our dream- what we envisioned when we created the brand as it sums up so much of what we are about. Luxurious and made for indulgence, they are double lidded to ensure freshness of our beloved tea blends, and enveloped with hand illustrations that tell the travel stories behind the blend.
Being able to meet some of you and share travel stories over sips of our teas has been priceless, and we can't wait to meet more of you at the upcoming Finders Keepers Market!
The response from retailers has been so heartening. From florists to gift services, spas and hampers, local and abroad, we are excited to know that our brand has found a place in the busy world out there, and we look forward to increasing the reach of our humble brand in 2018.
To celebrate our first birthday, we are also thrilled with our website refresh, thanks to the incredible talents of Tealily and Sandra Chau Design.
Finally, our celebrations wouldn’t be complete without a big dose of appreciation some of the other wonderful artisans with whom we have had the pleasure of working with in bringing The Tea Nomad to life. We have been blessed to collaborate with so many talented souls, but a few whom we must mention include: Australian Tea Masters, PinkTank Creative, Skye Mckenzie, Words with Heart, Teatini, Imehly, Petal and Fern, Tres Collective, and Prop Co-op. Special mention to Wild Coral and GM2NY, our biggest cheerleaders who never tire of serving as sounding boards, and whom I am personally grateful never tire of me as their tea- obsessed, world- hopping sister in law.
